“Bristol folk” is a discographical history of Bristol folk music in the 1960s and ‘70s. The book has been written by the owner of VinylAttic and results from 40+ years of listening.

It features all the recording artists on the Bristol folk scene: from Ian Anderson's country blues to the manic 1930s jazz of the Pigsty Hill Light Orchestra; from Adge Cutler's novelty rural folk to the sophisticated bedsit images of Shelagh McDonald; from the rustic rock of Stackridge to the folk-rock of Hunt & Turner; from the modern music hall of John Christie to pop hits by the Wurzels, and more.

It also includes unpublished photographs from the artists' private collections plus an illustrated discography.
